Basic Obedience:  This training covers the general cues/commands that most dog owners want their dogs to have mastered:  'Sit', 'Down', 'No', 'Come', 'Stay', etc.  Also included is teaching your dog how to walk in 'Heel' (right next to you).  Since walking your dog should be a top level priority, learning how to do it correctly is a HUGE step in the right direction.

Behavior Modification:  This addresses the correction of specific, unwanted behaviors.  Some examples would include 'counter surfing', jumping on people, chasing cars, terrorizing cats, digging holes, etc.  An important element of Behavior Modification is teaching your dog alternative behaviors that ARE acceptable.  Remember:  your dog wants to please you; it's up to us to redirect and give them that opportunity.

Public Access Training:  In order for a dog to successfully work as a service dog in any capacity, the dog MUST be able to pass a generalized public access test.  If you have a service dog and your dog breaks any of the public access rules, the establishment that you're visiting has the legal right to kick you and your dog off of the premises.  Never would we want this to happen!  In addition to working with your dog, we work with you, the owner, on how to properly handle your dog and set her or him up for success in any given public setting.

Pack Structure Education:  As descendants of wolves, dogs live with a 'Pack' mentality and don't understand it when we fail to operate according to pack rules.  Establishing the proper pecking order and maintaining healthy Pack Structure can be an absolute 'game changer' for the good.  Pack Structure lays a beautiful and solid foundation on which all dog training can be built upon and grow in strength.  In a sense, we teach you how to 'speak dog' and be the rock that your dog so highly desires to have and depend on.

Owner Management Planning:  While training is important, we humans need to do all we can to set our dogs up for success!  Sometimes dogs 'get into trouble', not because they're bad dogs, but because the owners didn't do their part in managing the dogs and their surroundings.  Proper management contributes greatly to peace of mind--for the dogs AND their owners!  We will help you!

Lifetime Call Support:  Right from the start of training, we encourage our clients to contact us if/when they have any training questions of any kind.  Whether you have just started working with us or it's been years since we've seen you, we happily are your dog trainers for as long as you want to use us.  We are not out to solicit  training you don't really need.  If you are one of our active or previous clients, we will always do our best to offer suggestions and walk you through things over the phone if at all possible.
